Welcome to Open Wings Ministries!
Pastors Derrick and Octavia Roberts are natives of Atlanta, Georgia, and have been active members of World Changers Church International since 2003. After a difficult time in their lives, the Roberts turned to the church for guidance and support. As they grew in their faith, they decided to open their home to the community for Bible study, which became known as Tuesday Church.
One night while in church, Pastor Derrick heard the voice of the Lord telling him to start a church. To his surprise, his wife Octavia had already received the same message from the Lord. They took this as confirmation and founded Open Wings Ministries in 2006. The name symbolizes God's never-failing, unconditional love, represented by outstretched arms.
